We treat our seas as if they are a limitless sponge, able to accept and absorb anything and everything we feel the need to throw into them, our planetary bottom drawer, but they aren't, and we all know that actually, but it's easier to pretend to not understand that out of sight out of mind doesn't work in the long term, there are already not plenty more fish in the sea, although heavy metals and radioactive isotopes are so abundant in some areas that we can't even visit anymore, but who would want to?, so who cares?
