Space is a wide open place, at least the bits we haven't got to yet are, the places we have visited are littered with spent craft and equipment, satellites, and organic and mechanical waste.
it's only a matter of time before we start dumping our nuclear waste up there somewhere, and then we can say we have really conquered (in the raped and plundered sense) everything..
